Who is this DJ Ponyboy anyway?
Growing up, I was not allowed to consume most media that was not explicitly Christian.
After leaving home I taught myself all I could about what I missed out on. I watched TV shows, movies, and clips of famous historical events and television events, read thousands of articles, and listened to all genres of music, absorbing pop culture knowledge like a sponge.
Today, I am more well-listened than most, many of whom have had decades more musical experience than I.
I pass the skills I have developed on to you – to empower you to help yourself find the music you have missed out on prior to today.
