Who is this DJ Ponyboy anyway?
I have been a lover and listener of music since before I was born!
While from the womb to leaving home I was restricted in the songs I was permitted to listen to, that handicap coupled with a love of music caused me to become an avid lifelong experiencer of music, constantly trying to experience as much music in as many genres as possible.
Today, I am more well-listened than most, many of whom have had decades more musical experience than I.
I have written music, played in bands, and ran front-of-house audio for bands and orators, in small cramped bars and at large multi-day outdoor music events. I have acted as sound designer for movies and plays.
In 2024 I created Mix Tape Journey, a weekly blog and curated playlist to share my love of music and the wonder of discovery with others.
I utilize the skills I have developed and tools I have collected to find you the perfect music for any unique occasion.
